Terlingua at Night, Wind like a String Section
This wood sculpture was made with a combination of wood burning, paper and metal. I was really interested in Hans Arp wood sculptures and wanted to do something similar but include moveable parts. The first image is a video of how the paper images move with the wood cut out of a mountain. The Moon goes up and down while the plant on the left sways side to side. This piece was meant to be interactive with the audience.
